Situated at the edge of private woodland at Grove Wood and looking out across meadow land and Upton Bishop Church and the Malvern Hills  in the distance, The Stables is a new build property and is ready for you to stay. Enjoy panoramic views and sunsets and watch the wildlife.

This holiday home has been carefully curated to blend into its rural, woodland setting and furnished with your luxury and comfort in mind and guests can enjoy a relaxing stay in rural Herefordshire. For those who have stayed at Perrycliff Cottage you will recognise some of the same touches that makes a stay at Grove Wood Cottages very exclusive and desirable indeed.

LIVING

The Stables has made use of glazing throughout to enhance both rural views and lighting. We encourage you to leave your car after parking nearby and the entrance is into a large kitchen/living room, via a path at the side.  There is an eco -approved  wood burning stove, high quality soft furnishings and all other amenities that you would expect from a luxury home. We have design features that suit our accessible guests too contact us for information.

EATING

The kitchen contains a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, Quooker boiling water tap and a wide selection of cookware, crockery, glassware, picnic basket and all the equipment you would need for your holiday. The dining area in the kitchen also opens out onto terraces so that you can eat outdoors. There is a separate room for washing and drying including an area for boots and coats. This contains a washing machine and drying rack and there is also an outdoor drying rack.

SLEEPING

There are two ensuite bedrooms.  Both rooms have comfortable beds with 200 thread count pure cotton bed linen and can be made into either Super King or twin beds.

BATHING

All bedrooms have well-equipped ensuite bathrooms. All feature a wash basin, mirror, heated towel rail and WC and a shower, Egyptian Cotton towels  and luxury Myddfai Trading Company, Warm Ginger range of bathroom products.

OUTDOOR WOODLAND

Your holiday home is situated in part of a small private estate at the edge of a meadow with rural views. You enter through a secure gated drive from a quiet country lane. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a ramp leads from the car park for accessibility for our less able guests. There are terraces for outdoor eating and sitting which lead into Grove Wood which includes a fire pit for marshmallow toasting in the evening with a glass of local cider or whatever is your preference. Bluebells and daffodils in the Spring and foxgloves, bracken and wild garlic to forage in the Summer and plenty of wildlife all year round.

OUTDOOR BATHROOM

Your holiday home also has access to a private outdoor bathroom with bath and shower and seating area- light the fire pit and watch the stars in the dark skies.
