Perrycliff Cottage, sited on a ridge on a quiet country lane, with stunning view across open countryside to Ross on Wye, and the welsh mountains is a luxury five star holiday cottage with 4 en-suite-bedrooms. It sleeps 8 in exceptional quality accommodation. Visit England awarded us with a Gold Award on our first visit reporting that the cottage had been completed to an “exceptionally high standard” and we are delighted that our Gold Award , five stars and other accreditations have been renewed once again by Visit England with a glowing report!

Having 2 ground floor bedrooms, a large reception room and second sitting room, eco wood burning stove and an Aga, Perrycliff Cottage is ideal for friends or family sharing – especially 3 generations. There’s a BBQ /pizza oven terrace, private off-road parking with electric gates and a ramp for the less mobile, courtyard gardens, secure cycle storage, facilities for walkers and use of the adjoining owners tennis court. Our guests love the space and views and especially where there are grandparents and children so everyone can holiday in comfort and enjoy happy evenings in the summer house in the adjoining orchard.

With 2 en suite bedrooms and spacious  living accommodation, The Stables, is a luxury, countryside holiday home for couples sharing and also for families and friends where everyone is welcome including the family dog. Wake up to an ever changing view of Grove Wood at your doorstep -relax and enjoy a safe outdoor space in the wonderful Wye Valley.

Situated at the edge of private woodland at Grove Wood and looking out across meadow land and Upton Bishop Church and the Malvern Hills  in the distance, The Stables is a new build property and is ready for you to stay. Enjoy panoramic views and sunsets and watch the wildlife.

This holiday home has been carefully curated to blend into its rural, woodland setting and furnished with your luxury and comfort in mind and guests can enjoy a relaxing stay in rural Herefordshire. For those who have stayed at Perrycliff Cottage you will recognise some of the same touches that makes a stay at Grove Wood Cottages very exclusive and desirable indeed.

The Stables is situated in part of a small private estate at the edge of a meadow with rural views. You enter through a secure gated drive from a quiet country lane. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a ramp leads from the car park for accessibility for our less able guests. There are terraces for outdoor eating and sitting which lead into Grove Wood which includes a fire pit for marshmallow toasting in the evening with a glass of local cider or whatever is your preference. Bluebells and daffodils in the Spring and foxgloves , bracken and wild garlic to forage in the Summer and plenty of wildlife all year round.

The Stables also has access to a private outdoor bathroom with bath and shower and seating area- light the fire pit and watch the stars in the dark skies. Upton Bishop village with its award winning local gastro pub -The Moody Cow-is only short walk and Ross on Wye, with a wide range of dining and visitor experiences, is just 3 miles away.
